Philip Archer-Lock joined Bacon & Woodrow in 1987, where he worked on general insurance consultancy projects, including providing statements of actuarial opinion for Lloyd’s Syndicates.  He qualified as an actuary in 1991.  He transferred to Deloitte & Touche as part of the merger with Bacon & Woodrow in 2001. In April 2003 he joined Advent as Group Actuary.
