The Advent Group was founded in 1993 and has developed its own capital vehicles with which to support its underwriting business.

Advent was one of the first dedicated capital providers in the Lloyd's market in 1995 and has adopted a policy of only supporting 'in-house' syndicates.

The founder directors of the Company remain heavily involved in the day to day operations of the Group and personnel have been and continue to be encouraged to have a financial interest in the Group.
